Eddyline kayaks are known for their light weight, high-performance materials and their undeniable attention to detail.   We believe these are some of the best kayaks made today.   Instead of using kevlar or fiberglass to gain glide/rigidity and shed pounds, Eddyline builds kayaks  with their more durable Carbonlite 2000 material.

Carbonlite 2000 is a high performance co-extruded plastic laminate that is proprietary to Eddyline Kayaks. It is first formed into a two layer flat sheet with a "muscle" substrate layer and a highly UV resistant exterior layer. Using very high temperatures and vacuum, the sheet is formed into the top and bottom of a kayak.

 The kayaks that result from this process have very similar performance capability to boats made from fiberglass or kevlar, but have much better durability and impact resistance.
